ABSENTEE VOTING NOTICE

Any qualified elector who is unable or unwilling to appear at the polling place on Election Day may request to vote an absentee ballot. A qualified elector is any U.S. citizen who will be 18 years of age or older on Election Day, and who has resided at the voting address for at least 28 consecutive days before the election. The elector must be registered and provide proof of identification* before an absentee ballot may be issued.

You must make a request for an absentee ballot in writing.

Contact the Clerk’s Office by mail, email, or fax and request an application for an absentee ballot, or submit a written request that includes your Cleveland street address; the address where the absentee ballot should be sent, a copy of your photo identification*; and your signature. (Email requests do not require a signature.)  You can also submit the request through the My Vote Wisconsin website at https://myvote.wi.gov (the fastest process to send you the ballot). Unless you are indefinitely confined, a request may include all elections for the calendar year in which the request is submitted.
